Sonic vs. Oscillating Electric Toothbrushes
Trying to decide which electric toothbrush is right for you?
The good news is it’s more about preference over performance. Oscillating brushes use a rotating motion to cup each individual tooth with a rounded brush head that sweeps away plaque. Sonic toothbrushes apply high-speed sonic pulses to push fluoride toothpaste between teeth.
Whichever type of brush you choose, selecting an electric toothbrush has been proven to remove more plaque than a manual brush.
